Dr. Julie Nam is a board certified pediatric ophthalmologist and strabismus surgeon with a private practice in New York City and Westchester County.
After graduating from the NYU School of Medicine, Dr. Nam completed her ophthalmology residency and pediatric ophthalmology & strabismus surgery fellowship at New York University Medical Center and Manhattan Eye, Ear & Throat Hospital. Dr. Nam had been selected and served as a pediatric eye surgeon for the non-profit sight saving team of ORBIS.
Dr. Nam performs the majority of her pediatric eye surgery at the NYU Medical Center. In addition to NYU, Dr. Nam is an attending surgeon at the New York Eye & Ear Infirmary.
Dr. Nam regularly employs adjustable and non-adjustable sutures for her patients requiring strabismus surgery.
